Adventures ahead

Hey Pizzazers! We have our Adventureland trip coming up quickly. Please make sure to let me know as soon as you can whether or not you are able to come. I need to get a head count soon - this also includes family and if you are bringing a friend.

One concert down...

Congratulations Pizzaz! You survived your first performance and live to sing another day. Was it perfect..no...but we have lots of time to perfect! You kept going and looked like you were having fun. That makes a show choir. Remember, no rehearsal tomorrow morning - sleep in. As a general note, if there is a delay, we have NO PIZZAZ rehearsal. The whole point of a delay is to give you more time to get safely to school. So chill out tomorrow and we will start up again on Tuesday!!

Upcoming Rehearsals

This week - Friday, February 17th, we are having a FULL DRESS REHEARSAL. This means girls: costumes, purple, navy or black undercover and shoes. Guys: black button down shirt, black dress pants, black socks and black shoes. I have the ties here and we will get them fitted to you then.

We are also having our rehearsal on Wednesday, February 22nd at THE HIGH SCHOOL. You will need to go to the auditorium side, go up the hill to the blue doors, turn right and walk down the hall to the set of double grey doors on your right. Go down the stairs to the stage for rehearsal. There will be a bus to take us back to Miller at 8:20. If you need a ride to rehearsal, tell us soon so we can get it arranged.

Let's Talk Adventureland

I have set up a poll to decide which day we will plan to go to Adventureland. We have several choices - the band is going April 28th - so keep that in mind. I want to choose the day that includes most of our members. I realize that not everyone can come, but we do our best to try to catch everyone. Please vote for all the days that would work for you. The poll closes at 10pm February 10th.

We will be discussing the dimensions of this trip as we move ahead - expect a preliminary explaination shortly after our next concert.

Gone Dec. 19

Hi Singers,

We will not have Pizzaz rehearsal Monday, December 19. I will be absent that day, so sleep in and i will see you on Wednesday!

Singing update

Just to update, we are NOT singing for the Holiday Stroll. I am double booked that day and would not be able to be there to help supervise. I feel awful about it, but we will just try another year.




Costume update: The costume process has taken much longer than i would like, but i think we are finally going somewhere. I hope to have them in my hands by next week. They should be on their way very soon. We will be trying them on and checking the fit, but some of them may need some tailoring to get the appropriate fit.


We are going to be in dark wash jeans and our pizzaz shirts for our winter concert. If you would like to wear scarf, you are welcome to - just make sure it does not inhibit your movements or your singing. Tennis shoes or Pizzaz shoes will be required...i don't want anyone slipping or losing a shoe.


Since many of you have asked, i have included a picture of the dresses with this, so you can envision the final product.
